About the Role
Network Finance is seeking a skilled .NET Mobile App Developer to join our team in Johannesburg North. As a key member of our mobile development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI.
- Integrate RESTful APIs to enable efficient data retrieval and storage.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable C# code following best practices.
- Apply MVVM architecture to ensure clear separation of business logic and UI.
- Implement data binding techniques for dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
- Manage local data storage to support offline capabilities.
- Write platform-specific code when required to leverage native iOS and Android features.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and development trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in mobile app development.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET MAUI / Xamarin.
- Proficiency in XAML for UI development in .NET MAUI.
- Solid understanding of MVVM architecture.
- Experience developing cross-platform applications for iOS and Android.
- Proficiency in consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with .NET Core frameworks, including Dependency Injection.
- Knowledge of local storage techniques for offline functionality.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Experience integrating internal or external APIs.
Advantageous Experience
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience with commercial UI components (e.g., DevExpress, SyncFusion).
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, and deployment processes.
