About the Role

Network Finance is seeking a skilled .NET Mobile App Developer to join our team in Johannesburg North. As a key member of our mobile app development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI. You will work closely with UI/UX designers to create intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI.
• Integrate RESTful APIs to enable efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable C# code following best practices.
• Apply MVVM architecture to ensure clear separation of business logic and UI.
• Implement data binding techniques for dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
• Manage local data storage to support offline capabilities.
• Write platform-specific code when required to leverage native iOS and Android features.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in mobile app development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET MAUI / Xamarin.
• Proficiency in XAML for UI development in .NET MAUI.
• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture.
• Experience developing cross-platform applications for iOS and Android.
• Proficiency in consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with .NET Core frameworks, including Dependency Injection.
• Knowledge of local storage techniques for offline functionality.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Experience integrating internal or external APIs.
