About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented School Management Admin Intern to provide administrative support to our school management team, ensuring efficient daily operations of learner records, communication, and office coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain learner registration files and update records
  • Capture attendance for learners and staff
  • Assist with admission and enrolment processes
  • Prepare letters, forms, and school communication to parents
  • Manage filing systems (physical and digital)
  • Support timetable coordination and classroom allocations
  • Assist in organising meetings, events, and school programmes
  • Handle reception duties (answering calls, welcoming visitors)
  • Maintain inventory records for school resources
  • Assist with reporting to the Department of Education where required

Requirements

  • South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34
  • Must not have participated on the YES programme before
  • Matric
  • Qualification in Public Management / Office Administration / Education Support
  • Good computer literacy (Word, Excel, Email)
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work with learners, parents, and staff professionally
