About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal in Family Law to join our team in Sandton. As a key member of our support staff, you will provide essential administrative and legal services to our family law practitioners. Key Responsibilities
- Provide Legal and Procedural Support Admin and Diary Management
- Communication and Coordination
- Family Law Expertise – Sound knowledge of family law procedures and documentation
- Court Processes – Understanding of court directives, rules, and filing requirements
- Legal Drafting – Ability to independently draft formal letters, memos, and legal correspondence
- Case Management Systems – Proficiency in Court Online and CaseLines
- Administrative Management – Strong organizational skills for diary and file management
- Billing and Fee Collection – Experience managing billing cycles, invoicing, and debt collection
Requirements
- Minimum: Paralegal Diploma or equivalent legal qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Family Law Paralegal in a reputable legal firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Court Online, and CaseLines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
