Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Video Content Creator to produce high-quality video assets for our clients across Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their brand and social video work, as well as experience in shooting and editing for various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce a high volume of content: Shoot and edit a minimum of 4 finished video assets per month, including brand stories, product explainers, and team culture pieces
- Capture customer voices: Coordinate and film testimonial shoots at client locations, handling interviews and post-production to create compelling case study videos
- Create for social & paid ads: Develop short-form content optimized for Reels, LinkedIn, and YouTube, as well as video creatives for paid performance campaigns based on marketer briefs
- Manage the full workflow: Handle everything from pre-production (shot lists, scripting) and on-location shooting to post-production (editing, colour grading, audio mixing)
- Enhance with graphics: Add motion graphics, lower thirds, and branded elements in collaboration with the creative designer
- Maintain assets & equipment: Keep the video library organized and all production gear in excellent, working condition
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional video production experience, including shooting and editing
- Portfolio: A showreel that demonstrates strong brand and social video work
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is essential
- Experience with After Effects or DaVinci Resolve is a plus. Must be comfortable with mirrorless/DSLR cameras, lighting, and wireless audio
Qualifications
- Specialized Knowledge: Proven experience shooting for social media (Reels, TikTok-style) and conducting professional interviews/testimonials
