About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in Menlyn. As an Advanced developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions using SAP ABAP, UI5, and SAP Fiori. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver successful implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality SAP ABAP applications using the latest technologies
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals
- Participate in Agile Working Methodology and contribute to the development of proposals and successful implementations
- Provide coaching and training to fellow colleagues and users when required
- Engage with foreign customers, being sensitive to possible language barriers and culture differences
Requirements
- Experience in SAP ABAP, UI5, SAP Fiori, and S4Hana
- SAP ABAP Certification
- Ability to work as part of a team with Agile Working Methodology
- Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements
- Level 1 process integration knowledge across multiple SAP Modules
- Level 1 technical (incl. infrastructure) integration knowledge across multiple technologies
Qualifications
- 5 years of DevOps (Operations, configuration/development) experience in commercial/and/or retail end user IT applications
- Strong ABAP Development skills, including:
- Proven track record as a competent ABAP programmer
- Good knowledge of Object Oriented Design Paradigms
- Test Driven Development Methodologies and how to make new and existing code testable
- Very strong understanding of optimized data retrieval and code performance techniques
- Good understanding of the Agile methodology
- Confluence and JIRA experience
- SAP Solution Manager exposure
- Modern ABAP understanding
- Exposure to SAP MM, SD, WM, APO
