About the role
This role supports daily legal operations through opening client files, drafting legal documents and correspondence, filing court documents, and assisting with court appearances. 

Responsibilities

  • Opening of client’s files.
  • Drafting legal documents.
  • Drafting letters and sending emails.
  • Filing court documents.
  • Court appearance.

Minimum Requirements

  • South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
  • Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
  • Matric.
  • Relevant qualification in Legal Studies / Paralegal Studies will be advantageous.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Word, email, and document management).
  • Good communication and administrative skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness to learn and gain practical legal workplace experience.
  • Ability to work in a professional office and meet deadlines.
