About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to provide first- and second-line support across Microsoft 365 environments, as well as basic administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Server environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments and solid experience with deskside support in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing first- and second-line support for Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID)
- Supporting Microsoft Server environments with basic administration and troubleshooting
- Delivering deskside and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Diagnosing and resolving a wide range of hardware, software, network, and user-related issues
- Travelling to client sites (including Cape Town) to assist with installations and support
- Logging and updating ticket progress clearly and efficiently
- Escalating complex issues to senior engineers when needed
- Maintaining a professional, polished presence while working with clients
Requirements
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- Exposure on Microsoft Server (on-pre or hybrid)
- Solid experience with deskside support in a professional setting
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills and customer service skills
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Firewalls)
Qualifications
- IT Certificates (Microsoft, CompTIA)
- Experience working in an MSP or multi-client environment
