Job Description

Assist in the preparation, compilation, and submission of construction tenders and bids Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify key requirements Coordinate with estimators, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical information Prepare tender schedules, compliance matrices, and supporting documentation Maintain an organized tender database and record of submissions, deadlines, and outcomes Request and analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors Ensure tenders comply with contractual, technical, and commercial requirements Track tender timelines and follow up on outstanding information Support post-tender clarifications and negotiations as required Qualifications & Experience Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred) Previous experience in construction tendering, estimating, or contract administration is an advantage Understanding of construction methods, materials, and tendering processes Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with estimating software is a plus Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines Team-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset Working Conditions Office-based with potential coordination with site teams Full-time Job Requirements: Assist with construction manager with updates/progress on all construction site. Ability in all administration needs: handle documentation, filing, arrange documentation, excellent in computer skills, Microsoft software and other office related software Communication with site Forman on site progress and identify issues on site, Daily report to manager on matters concerning site development. Preferential: Experience in construction. Ability to work under pressure and good communication skills. Ability to compile reports on demand- good writing skills Fast learner, and open to new challenges. Own transportation and South African Citizen. 2 years experience in the field of construction Degree in construction management or related field Experience in QS work Experience with Road Work
