Job Description

The Store Manager will lead all in-store operations, driving store performance, maintaining high standards of customer service, and working closely with the team on the floor. This is a hands-on managerial role requiring active involvement in day-to-day store activities rather than passive task delegation. Operational Leadership Manage daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and optimal customer experience. Ensure merchandise presentation, display standards, and inventory management align with brand expectations. Enforce store policies and procedures to guarantee safety, quality, and authenticity in all transactions. Team Management & Development Lead, coach, and motivate the in-store team to deliver high levels of customer service and product knowledge. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and supportive work culture. Provide clear direction and oversight of tasks and performance outcomes. Customer Experience & Sales Uphold commitment to excellent client service during both in-store and virtual interactions. Assist with customer inquiries, authentication processes, consignment explanations, and secure transaction facilitation. Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to service delivery. Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution Maintain high standards for work quality within the store and intervene directly when quality issues arise. Resolve customer and team concerns proactively and efficiently. Matric (Grade 12) required; tertiary qualification in Business, Retail Management, or related field an advantage. Minimum 35 years experience in retail management, preferably in luxury goods, fashion, customer service, or high-value product environments. Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills. A proactive, hands-on approach to managing operations and resolving challenges.
