Job Description
Hire Resolves client is seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement & Import Controller to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes, supplier negotiations, logistics coordination, and inventory forecasting.
Responsibilities:

Manage purchase requests and RFQs.

Source and negotiate pricing with international and local suppliers.

Ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation of orders.

Oversee logistics processes for incoming shipments.
-
Resolve shipment issues and discrepancies.
-
Research and source new products.
-
Manage customer requests and marketing lists.
-
Handle help desk requests and queries.
-
Manage damaged goods and warranty replacements.
-
Forecast stock demand and provide accurate ETAs.
Requirements:

Proven experience in procurement and import management.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficient in Odoo or similar ERP systems.

Knowledge of HS codes and customs regulations.

Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
