About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to join our client’s team. As a Tax Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing tax advice and assistance to our clients. With a strong focus on tax compliance and planning, you will help clients navigate complex tax laws and regulations to optimize their financial situations.
Key Responsibilities
- ITR14’s, ITR12’s, IT12El, IRP6 provisional tax returns, ITSD and Dividends Tax returns
- Calculation of PAYE
- EMP501’s and IR
- All statutory registrations
- Vat audits, income tax audits, objections, review and understand assessments and identify mistakes
- Handle SARS queries, correspond with SARS and clients
- Must be target and deadline driven
- Experience in the following an advantage: Taxware, E-filing, easyfile, Excel
- Manage and control clients assigned to them
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tax Consultant
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA) is a plus
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R300K – R218K/yr. (Dependent on Experience)
