About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a proactive and experienced Tax Stakeholder Executive to join our client’s dynamic team in Pretoria, South Africa. This role involves managing relationships with key stakeholders in the tax sector to drive strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies related to tax matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, tax authorities, and industry partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder inquiries and issues related to tax.
- Collaborate with internal teams to collect and analyze data on stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor regulatory changes and their implications for stakeholders.
- Prepare reports and updates to management on stakeholder engagement activities.
- Advocate for stakeholder interests within the organization and communicate their needs to relevant parties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SAIT Practitioner
- 15-20 years of experience in tax, stakeholder relations, or public relations.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in stakeholder analysis and engagement strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in policy advocacy and negotiation is a plus.
