About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrument Design Technician to join our team in the Western Cape region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and instrumentation, with experience in the petrochemical and waste water treatment industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and instrument design for various projects
- Develop and maintain technical documentation using AutoCAD
- Collaborate with project management teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Conduct site visits and inspections as required
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 6 years’ extensive Electrical and Instrumentation Design experience
- Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Proficient in AutoCAD for Electrical Design and Drafting essential. Proficiency in Project Management Software advantageous
- Experience in Petrochem and/or Waste Water Treatment works essential. Exposure in Chemical and Food Industries an advantage
- Valid Driver’s License
