About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver – Light Duty to join our team at MBPC The Glen dealership in Johannesburg. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods or passengers to various destinations, while also ensuring the maintenance and organization of company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods or passengers to various destinations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Load and unload items from the vehicle as needed
- Maintain clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior
- Communicate with dispatch or supervisors to receive instructions and updates
- Keep accurate records of vehicle mileage, maintenance, and deliveries
Requirements
- Valid SA driver’s license for operating light vehicles
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience as a driver preferred
- Knowledge of local roads and routes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
