About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Picker Packer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. As a permanent, full-time employee, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering packages to specified locations, ensuring timely delivery and accurate record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify addresses and locations before each delivery to ensure accuracy
- Carefully plan travel routes to ensure timely delivery of packages
- Secure packages to prevent damage during transit
- Obtain recipients’ signatures upon completion of each delivery to confirm receipt of correct items
- Collect payments as required and verify that the correct amounts have been received
- Maintain an accurate record of all packages delivered to recipients
Requirements
- Must be a South African Citizen with a clean criminal background
- Valid driver’s license (checks will be done on shortlisted applicants)
