Duties:
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decisions
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards
- Oversee cash flow management and financial controls
- Develop and enhance financial models, reporting frameworks, and processes
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to drive performance and efficiency
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team, ensuring high performance and accountability
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom Accounting
- BCom Honours, Accounting
- CA(SA)
Experience:
- Completed articles with 3+ years post-articles experience
- Experience within financial services is advantageous
- Strong understanding of IFRS, tax, VAT, and regulatory frameworks
- Advanced Excel and financial systems experience (e.g., Sage, CaseWare)
- Proven experience in team leadership and stakeholder management
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex data
- Ability to manage complexity and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
