About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the finance department, ensuring accurate financial records, and maintaining compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately
- Maintain financial records and assist with reporting
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes
- Stock & Inventory Control:
- Assist with stock takes and coordinate physical counts
- Reconcile stock discrepancies and update records
- Maintain GRN module and monitor open Purchase Orders
- BOM & WIP Management:
- Review and update Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) and report variances
- Syspro & Controls:
- Ensure accurate job closures on Syspro
- Verify job costing and data accuracy
- Close off open Purchase Orders
- Maintain accurate and reliable system data
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with internal departments (Production, Procurement, Finance)
- Communicate with suppliers and external service providers
- Resolve queries and ensure smooth operational flow
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 23 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in a manufacturing or stock-driven environment advantageous
- Syspro experience advantageous
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong administrative and organisational ability
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and solution-driven
- Ability to work independently and within a team

- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
