Job Description

Key Responsibilities

You will play a vital role in transforming engineering designs into detailed technical documentation by:

Producing detailed CAD drawings for piping systems, pressure vessels, and mechanical equipment used in petrochemical plants.
Developing piping layouts, isometric drawings, and general arrangement (GA) drawings.
Preparing fabrication and construction drawings based on engineering specifications.
Updating and revising drawings in line with design changes and project requirements.
Collaborating closely with mechanical, process, and piping engineers to ensure design accuracy and technical integrity.
Ensuring drawings comply with industry codes, standards, and project documentation procedures.
Assisting with document control and drawing management throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Diploma or Certification in Mechanical Draughting, Engineering Design, or a related field.
3–7 years’ experience in CAD drafting within the petrochemical, oil & gas, or process plant industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or similar CAD software.
Proven experience producing piping isometrics, vessel drawings, and plant layout drawings.
A solid understanding of piping components, valves, fittings, and pressure vessels.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and technical accuracy.
