Job Description
This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with manufacturing expertise who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and report on production output (tons per hour, tons delivered, bags packed, stock counts, quality).
Plan and manage production schedules, downtime, and maintenance.
Lead, coach, and manage Production Supervisors and Warehouse teams to meet KPIs.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives and operational fault-finding.
Maintain compliance with ISO 9000/22000/14000/18000 standards.
Manage employee relations and enforce policies in a unionised environment.
Requirements
510 years experience in manufacturing at supervisory or middle management level.
National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Ability to operate as GMR2.
Strong leadership and management skills; experience in a unionised environment preferred.
Proficient in MS Suite, OnKey, SAP.
Manufacturing process fault-finding expertise.
PLC/SCADA development/maintenance experience is an advantage.
