About the Role

The Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of contract logistics clients across projects, ensuring seamless delivery of transport solutions and freight forwarding services to customers in the mining, oil, and gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the operational performance of contract logistics clients across projects.
Ensure compliance with customs rules and shipping regulations for shipments.
Follow company safety procedures and meet quality requirements during operations.
Coordinate freight forwarders to execute specific transport movements for clients.
Process freight forwarder invoices and manage invoice payments for services.

Requirements

Hold a Degree or Diploma in Logistics Management.
Possess seven to ten years of relative logistics experience.
Demonstrate experience working within the freight forwarding industry for clients.
Show a background in multimodal operations and supply chain operations.
Provide a record of managing project logistics operations for businesses.
Show experience leading the implementation of freight applications in companies.
Demonstrate expertise in leading freight price negotiation meetings with suppliers.
