About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR leader to join our EXCO team as the Group Head of HR at one of our Johannesburg dealerships. As a key member of our senior leadership, you will play a critical role in shaping our organisational culture, driving business performance, and ensuring compliance with labour laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic HR partner at EXCO level, contributing to overall business direction and performance
- Drive organisational culture, leadership capability, and employee engagement across all dealerships
- Partner closely with General Managers to improve accountability, performance, and productivity
- Lead and implement HR strategies aligned to commercial objectives and operational requirements
- Oversee and strengthen labour relations, ensuring compliance and effective dispute resolution
- Drive organisational development initiatives, including succession planning and talent management
- Lead change management initiatives across multiple sites and diverse teams
- Standardise HR processes and best practices across all branches
- Provide HR insights and reporting to support executive decision-making
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years HR experience
- At least 5 years in a senior or leadership role within the automotive sector
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role at EXCO level or equivalent at Motor retail groups, dealership networks, Automotive OEM environment, Multi-site operational businesses with similar scale and complexity
