About the Role
The Site Manager at Bidvest Protea Coin is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Kathu site, ensuring that all contractual requirements are met and maintaining a high level of quality and security. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Security advice to clients
- Quality Assurance Audit
- Threat and Risk assessments
- Experienced client liaison and professional client relationship
- Project Management
- Effectively dealing with and managing client complaints
- Ensure that the contractual requirements are met all the time
- Maintaining the ISO 9001 quality system
- Ensuring that all companies/Clients SOPs are followed
- Incident and Investigation Management
- Ensure compliance to the company’s disciplinary code
- Manage the smooth day-to-day running of the relevant site to ensure profitability
- Effective organization, supervision and staff management
- Client retention and maintaining customer service levels
- Training and development
- Audits and assessments
- Maintenance and safeguarding of company and client assets
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
- PSIRA certification – Grade A
- Relevant experience in a managerial or similar position for at least 5 years
- Knowledge of methods and techniques of risk management, business impact analysis and counter measures
- Knowledge of tools and systems which provide access security control
- Must have confidence in dealing with public
- Bilingual (English and any other South African language)
- First aid and firefighting will be advantageous
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- Computer literate and knowledge of MS office
- Must be willing to undergo a polygraph test
- Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record
- Valid driver’s license & own reliable transport
