About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to drive sales growth within the mining industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting company products and services to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives within the mining sector.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across mining companies, contractors, and related stakeholders.
  • Manage and facilitate vendor registration processes with mining houses and contractors, ensuring company compliance with procurement requirements.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through regular site visits, presentations, and follow-ups.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and value propositions tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with technical, operations, and product teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in line with company policies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and mining project developments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards during all client interactions.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to represent the company and generate leads.

Requirements

Proven experience in sales within the mining or heavy industrial sector.

Demonstrated experience in managing vendor registration processes within the mining industry.

Strong knowledge of mining processes, equipment, and/or consumables.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.

Strong business development mindset and results-driven approach.
