About the Role
A global leader in automation and pneumatic solutions is seeking a driven Sales Engineer to grow business in the Gqeberha region. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to FMCG and automotive manufacturing environments, with a proven track record of delivering value-driven automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow business within FMCG and automotive manufacturing sectors
- Manage and expand key accounts
- Conduct site visits and identify automation opportunities
- Present technical solutions and prepare proposals
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Maintain structured pipeline reporting and forecasting
Requirements
- Proven experience in automation, pneumatics, or industrial component sales
- Strong exposure to FMCG and/or automotive manufacturing clients
- Ability to engage with engineers, maintenance teams, and production managers
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
- Track record of achieving sales targets
