About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Polokwane branch, with a proven track record in retail management. As a commercially minded individual with strong leadership ability, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance and improving turnover.

Key Responsibilities

Drive store performance to meet monthly turnover and gross profit targets
Deliver excellent customer service by understanding and meeting customer needs
Lead, motivate, and manage staff to achieve high performance
Oversee staff training and ensure strong product knowledge across the team
Maintain high standards of merchandising, housekeeping, and store presentation
Manage stock effectively, including reorders, stocktakes, and shrinkage control
Handle administrative duties including banking, reporting, and database updates
Implement promotions and in-store displays to boost sales
Monitor daily operations, staff performance, and customer interactions on the floor
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

Matric
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Branch Manager
Solid retail experience (essential)
Hardware or homeware experience (advantageous)
