About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HR professional to join our client’s team as an HR Officer (Labour Relations). This role is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in HR and is willing to put in the hours to grow into leadership. Our client, a well-established liquor distribution company, is committed to developing its employees and providing opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide labour relations advice and support to operational staff
- Develop and implement labour laws and regulations within the organization
- Conduct CCMA representation and mediate disputes
- Maintain accurate records of employee data and labour law compliance
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Work closely with operational staff to resolve labour-related issues
Requirements
- HR degree (non-negotiable)
- Strong SA labour law knowledge
- CCMA experience (independent representation)
- Own transport
- Willingness to work 5.5 days a week and extended hours in peak season
Qualifications
- Formal education in Human Resources or related field
Salary & Benefits
- R20 000 – R28 000 per annum (inclusive of provident fund)
