About the Role
CA Support, a business process outsource specialist, is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their team in Bellville. Our client assists small start-ups to large multi-nationals to expand and invest seamlessly across international borders, providing critical administrative and compliance support.
Key Responsibilities
- Document financial transactions in the General Ledger system
- Process accounts payable (i.e., processing invoices, payments, and reconciliation of accounts)
- Maintain Cashflow forecasts and reports
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with monthly management accounts
- Assist with audit-related queries
- Reconcile petty cash
- Accounts payable journals and accruals
- Manage online payments
- Distribute supplier invoices for authorization
- Reconcile corporate staff account cards
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls
- Maintain internal systems and client files (electronic and hard copies)
- Stay up to date and comply with latest legislation
Requirements
- Ability to work in cross-cultural settings
- Team player, motivated
- Strong accounts payable skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of all MS Office applications
- Knowledge of QuickBooks will be beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform duties with limited supervision
- Deadline-oriented with attention to detail
- Hands-on, proactive approach
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance / Accounting will be advantageous.
