About the Role
Theodorah Ndaba Victim Support Centre is urgently seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team on a 4-month contract. As a key member of our support network, you will play a vital role in empowering victims of crime and providing them with the necessary resources to rebuild their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support and guidance to victims of crime
- Facilitate access to shelter and other forms of support services
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for clients
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to ensure effective victim support
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Victim Empowerment Sector (Shelter)
- Police Clearance Certificate required
- Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professionals (SACSSP) compulsory
- Valid Driver’s License
- Fluency in two local languages
Qualifications
- Formal education: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
