About the Role
Theodorah Ndaba Victim Support Centre is urgently seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team on a 4-month contract. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting victims of crime and empowering them to take control of their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support and guidance to victims of crime
- Facilitate victim empowerment programs and activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to ensure effective support services
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and service providers
- Ensure efficient communication with clients and team members
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
- At least 3 years of experience in the Victim Empowerment Sector (Shelter)
- Police Clearance Certificate
- Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professionals (SACSSP)
Qualifications
- Formal education: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
