Job Description
Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Field Technicians & Installers to join our growing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems at client sites. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults and equipment failures.
- Complete service reports and installation documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers when required.
- Travel to various client locations as needed.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in good condition.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Relevant technical qualification will be advantageous.
- Previous experience in field service, installations, maintenance, or a similar technical role.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
