About the Role
Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for the energy sector? Our client in Richmond is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead their sales team and drive growth in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and implement innovative sales strategies, build strong client relationships, and contribute to their mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve targets
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners, brokers, and stakeholders
- Identify market opportunities and drive product innovation
- Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and adjust strategies as needed
- Collaborate with other departments (product, marketing, operations) to ensure alignment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of sales experience in microinsurance or a similar field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of microinsurance principles, products, and regulations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Fluency in English and local languages (e.g., Afrikaans, Sesotho, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Willingness to travel
- Valid drivers licence
- Own vehicle
