About the Role
Omega HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Training Manager: Bricklaying to take ownership of their global tile installation training strategy, with a strong focus on Africa and other emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and roll out a structured, market-relevant tile installation training programme
- Develop training materials including manuals, assessments, and practical guides
- Deliver hands-on training across various international markets
- Continuously evaluate and improve training effectiveness based on feedback and performance
- Set and track training KPIs (coverage, pass rates, skill improvement)
- Compile regular reports for head office with insights and recommendations
- Support the launch of mason training projects in new markets
- Assist in building local teams and implementing standard operating procedures
- Drive adoption and ensure successful project execution on the ground
- Ensure all training and project activities meet internal standards and compliance requirements
- Manage budgets and ensure optimal use of training resources
- Train and support local teams, distributors, and marketing functions
- Build strong relationships with masons to understand real on-site challenges
- Collaborate with internal teams to align training with product and brand standards

- Relevant degree
- 58 years experience in training, technical support within the building materials/tile industry
- Proven experience working directly with mason training or installation teams
- Exposure to international or emerging markets (Africa highly advantageous)
- Willingness to travel extensively across multiple countries
- Strong knowledge of tile installation techniques, materials, and quality standards
- Ability to design and deliver technical training programmes from scratch
- Confident in troubleshooting on-site installation challenges
- Solid understanding of market dynamics and artisan (mason) needs
