About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Packhouse Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packhouse operations and be able to motivate and lead a team to achieve high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily packhouse operations, ensuring efficient production and quality control
• Motivate and train staff to meet performance targets and maintain high levels of productivity
• Implement and enforce global standards and certifications such as GlobalGAP, FSSC (Food Safety System Certification), and Siza
• Maintain accurate records and reports on production, quality, and maintenance
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

• Agricultural Diploma advantageous
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a packhouse / production / operations role
• Previous vegetable farming experience
• Computer literate
• Strong understanding and practical experience with global standards and certifications such as GlobalGAP, FSSC (Food Safety System Certification), and Siza

• Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
