About the Role
We are seeking an efficient and courteous cashier to join our team at RIVINGO TRADING PTY LTD in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and high accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and answering their questions
- Helping customers locate items and providing advice or recommendations
- Operating scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics
- Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales
- Accepting payments and ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate
- Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints
- Bagging or wrapping purchases to ensure safe transport
- Following all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or the purchase of specific items
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and high accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
