Job Description
Location: Cape Town
Our client is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail. The Audit Senior will be responsible for leading and performing audits for a variety of clients, as well as providing guidance and training to junior staff.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute audit engagements from planning to completion
- Perform risk assessment and develop audit plans
- Conduct fieldwork, review workpapers, and analyze financial statements
- Identify and communicate audit findings to management
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members
- Maintain and cultivate client relationships
- Stay current on industry trends and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- 3+ years of audit experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software
