About the Role
The Assistant Handyman role is an essential part of our facilities management team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our client’s premises in Cape Town City Centre. This position requires a multi-skilled individual who can assist with various tasks, including technical requests, facility maintenance, and ad-hoc duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Technical Requests as instructed
- Assist with non-technical requests as instructed
- Assist with facility maintenance as instructed
- Assist with Ad-hoc duties as instructed
- Ensure compliance to Health & Safety Act
- Communicate repairs / provide feedback to Facilities Manager via daily report
Requirements
- Grade 10
- Min 2-3 year working experience
- Good comprehension of English / Afrikaans language
- People and Management Skill
- Multi skilled
- Good people skills
- Practical work experience
- Hands-on person
- Ability to plan, organize and control own work effort
