Job Summary
Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking an Azure Ops Lead to join their team in Cape town (4 days a week, 2 days onsite and 2 days remote) on a contract basis. An Azure Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of Azure cloud infrastructure and operations.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Cloud infrastructure management and oversee the deployment, management, and maintenance of Azure cloud resources. Implement and monitor cloud performance metrics to ensure optimal system performance and reliability. Work with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of cloud operations with overall mission objectives. Oversee the implementation of technical changes to supported environments with an automation-forward mindset Provide on-site and remote support for day-to-day Azure operations, assist with new and existing Azure projects, and conduct cross-training sessions for team members. Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in computer science, information technology, cloud computing, or equivalent experience. Hands-on experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure. Azure certified Minium of 5 years Technical Azure hands on experience
