About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on management accounts, providing monthly reports to departments, and participating in budgeting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor & report on Material Variances, Contract prices, Cost of labour, Cost of projects, Forecast of BOM costs against actual costs
- Investigate variances, draw up relevant reports, and provide monthly management reports to all departments
- Participate with the Budget and provide cost estimates for new projects and products
Requirements
- Degree in Cost & Management Accounting or relevant qualification
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in working with Bill of Materials (BOMs), costing, and variances in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge on ERP systems
- Working knowledge of SYSPRO advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills
- Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle

- Degree in Cost & Management Accounting or relevant qualification
