About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, with a strong focus on providing top-notch service to our clients in the Food and Beverage Manufacturing Industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and machinery
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues with forklifts and trucks
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and compliant with industry standards
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the Food and Beverage Manufacturing Industry
  • Trade Tested: Red Seal Diesel Mechanic certification
  • Sound technical knowledge of forklifts and trucks
  • Valid Driver’s License (Code EC)
  • Own transport required
  • Contactable references and payslips required
