About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer/Technologist to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Survey and assess LV overhead and underground electrical networks
- Design 11kV switchgear and MV/LV distribution systems
- Contribute to sports field and street lighting projects
- Assist with tender preparation, cost estimates, and technical evaluations
- Support projects involving pumping stations, MCCs, and SCADA systems
- Provide input on building services including power, lighting, IT/data, access control, fire detection, and UPS systems
Requirements
- Minimum 35 years of experience in a similar electrical engineering role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
Qualifications
BTech or BEng in Electrical Engineering
