About the Role
Our client operates within the insurance environment, focusing on bespoke solutions for high-net-worth individuals. This Insurance Manager role sits within a specialised wealth insurance team and plays a critical part in sourcing, advising, and managing a portfolio of affluent clients. You will take ownership of building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring that their insurance needs are not only met, but anticipated.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and secure new high-net-worth insurance clients
- Conduct detailed needs analyses to identify gaps in existing cover
- Structure and present tailored insurance solutions aligned to clients’ needs
- Manage the full policy lifecycle, including onboarding, servicing, renewals, and claims
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships through personalised engagement
- Monitor client portfolios, including renewals, claims experience, and policy performance
- Ensure that all documentation, compliance, and regulatory requirements are met
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service
- Drive portfolio growth while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in short-term insurance (personal lines essential)
- Proven experience working with high-net-worth clients
- FAIS compliant (RE, credits, and Fit & Proper requirements)
- Strong understanding of insurance products, policy structures, and underwriting principles
- Experience in both sales and servicing environments
