Cape Town City Centre: Estimator

Key Responsibilities: Prepare feasibility studies and cost estimates based on conceptual designs and project scope Analyse drawings, BoQs, site information, and technical documentation Identify cost risks, assumptions, contingencies, and value-engineering opportunities Compile cash flow forecasts and high-level financial projections Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate costing data Prepare clear feasibility reports, cost summaries, and recommendations Maintain pricing databases, benchmarks, and cost libraries Support development, finance, and tender teams with early-stage cost input Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile): Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or similar Proven experience in estimating or feasibility analysis within a construction environment Strong understanding of construction costs, processes, and project lifecycles Proficiency in estimating software and advanced spreadsheet skills Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
