Essential Duties & Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, the field service technician must be able to perform the following duties Service and maintain machines in accordance with manufacturers specifications Diagnose and repair faults on equipment Install equipment hardware and software – and train operators Provide on-site support throughout the Western Cape, as required Client Liaison with the aim to grow business Ensure that daily customer queries are resolved promptly Client liaison / customer relations Telephonic, email or remote connection support for customers Willingness to travel local and abroad, as and when required Willing to work after hours if necessary Perform admin related tasks based on the policies and procedures set by management. Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above Promote a professional appearance and maintain customer relations and company integrity. Hands on approach to equipment repair Ability to work under pressure and prioritise issues Work Experience Minimum 2 – 5 years experience in Electrical/Mechanical Basic Role requirements Own reliable transport Valid drivers license (code 08) Passport Travel Demands: Yes Education / Qualifications Proof will be required Grade 12 or Equivalent N3 A Computer/Technical Skills Must be computer literate Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
