Cape Town City Centre: Mechanical Draughtsperson

Key Responsibilities: Produce detailed mechanical drawings and layouts using Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software. Support engineers in developing 3D models, general arrangements, and fabrication drawings for mining and processing equipment. Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements. Participate in site visits to verify design accuracy and gather technical information. Maintain drawing registers and document control for assigned projects. Requirements: Draughting Certificate or equivalent formal qualification. Minimum of 35 years experience in mechanical draughting within the mining or mineral processing industry . Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (experience in SolidWorks or AutoCAD Mechanical is advantageous). Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
