Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily, weekly, and monthly business partner settlement & fee reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency; Partner with external business stakeholders to proactively identify & resolve any discrepancies and to drive preventative solutions; Conduct thorough settlement reconciliations, identifying and addressing any discrepancies in transactional & banking records; Continuously improve reconciliation & settlement processes by developing and implementing best practices; Assist with the design and development of reconciliation and settlement processes for new payment networks onboarded; Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of reconciliation methods, outcomes, and solutions; Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies by closely monitoring procedures; Assist in internal and external audits, providing detailed documentation and clear explanations of methodologies
Minimum
Requirements:
Completed accounting or finance qualification (BCom or BAcc preferred); 1 – 3 years experience in a similar role, focusing on financial data and reconciliations; Excellent MS Excel skills (including pivots and lookups); Understanding of the payments environment would be highly beneficial; Fluent in business English, any additional languages will be seen as beneficial; Own reliable transport Thank you for applying with RareCruit Follow us on social media for the latest jobs, trends and market insight: Website:
