The main purpose of the role: The Senior Electrical Engineer will take a lead role in designing and delivering the electrical scope of a hydrogen production facility, ensuring compliance with all applicable construction standards, grid codes, and hydrogen-specific regulations. This is a deliverables-based role, with responsibility for defined outputs to support the FEED/EPC phases of the project. Responsibilities: Electrical Design Basis Load Lists & Power Balance Single-Line Diagrams & System Architecture Compliance Mapping Electrical Studies Equipment Specifications HSE & Hazardous Areas Stakeholder & Interface Management Reporting & Documentation Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Registration with Engineering Council of South Africa or equivalent registration preferred. 8 years experience, with industrial/process plant or renewable/hydrogen projects exposure. Deep knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, NEC, SANS, NRS codes. Proficiency in DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD, AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent Demonstrated ability to produce FEED/EPC deliverables. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-disciplinary coordination skills.
