Cape Town City Centre: Storeman (General)

Main purpose of the job: Receive, store, and issue materials, and other items from stockroom and warehouse. Keep records and compile stock reports. Preferred Requirements: Matric (Gr. 12) Induction training and training on raw material area, work procedures and instructions. Full competence in this role is typically developed over 6 months- 1 year. Knowledge: Understanding of Stores Stock Control & Principles Knowledge understanding of stock receiving practices and work practices procedures. Knowledge and understanding of minimum and maximum stock level quantities and practices. Skills Knowledge and understanding of OHS procedures and practices within the stores environment.
