Office based: Montague Gardens Hours: Mon to Thu 08:00 16:30 / Fri 08:00 15:00 Warehouse Manager oversees a warehouse’s daily operations, including inventory, shipping, receiving, staff management, and safety, to ensure the efficient storage and dispatch of goods. Key responsibilities involve managing staff and training, optimizing space, enforcing safety protocols, maintaining inventory accuracy on Pastel Partner, and coordinating with suppliers, clients, and transport companies to meet delivery targets and maintain quality service. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, implement inventory control strategies, and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments to prevent loss and ensure optimal stock levels. Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and manage warehouse staff, providing leadership to maximize productivity and efficiency while minimizing overtime. Logistics and Operations: Coordinate the loading and unloading of goods, plan deliveries, manage dispatch orders, and oversee the overall flow of materials and products. Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce safety regulations, conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Space Optimization: Monitor and manage warehouse space to ensure efficient utilization and a logical layout for product storage and movement. Reporting: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on productivity, efficiency, and safety to support continuous improvement and strategic planning. Production Manager in manufacturing oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of the entire production process, ensuring products are made on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Key responsibilities include developing production schedules, managing staff and resources, maintaining quality control, optimizing processes for efficiency, and collaborating with other departments to meet business goals. Essential skills for the role involve strong leadership, technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, and excellent communication and organizational abilities. Key Responsibilities Production Planning: Create and manage production schedules, determine material inputs, and coordinate activities to meet targets. Team Management: Supervise, motivate, and organize production staff, assigning tasks and ensuring adequate coverage and productivity. Quality Control: Ensure all products meet established quality standards and that manufacturing processes comply with safety and regulatory requirements. Process Optimization: Monitor workflow, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements to reduce costs and downtime. Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including raw materials, equipment, and staff, to maintain operational efficiency.
