About the Role
Takora is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective logistics management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
- Supervise and coordinate a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational targets
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems
- Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and customers
- Monitor and control costs, including warehousing and logistics expenses
Requirements
- Matric Qualification
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain Management (advantageous)
- At least 3 years of experience in warehousing and logistics
- 1 year of supervisory/management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
- Good administrative skills
- Strong negotiation skills
Qualifications
- Project Management certification (advantageous)
