Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation in the TRACKING sector. The Product Manager will take full ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle within the Commercial and Enterprise business segment, serving as the subject matter expert across fleet platforms, products, and solutions. This role is responsible for driving strategic planning, executing product roadmaps, setting priorities, optimising product performance, and enhancing customer satisfaction, while delivering sustainable financial growth. The successful candidate will ensure all initiatives create measurable business value, strengthen competitive positioning, and support operational excellence. A key requirement of the role is strong cross-functional collaboration, sound business acumen, and the ability to translate market insights and customer needs into clear, actionable product strategies and outcomes. KPIs Strategic Growth & Commercial Delivery · Support in achieving or exceeding the annual growth targets for the vertical · Develop, maintain, and execute a growth strategy in collaboration with sales, marketing, and business leaders. Product Lifecycle Ownership · Own the roadmap for all vertical products and platforms, ensuring delivery of committed initiatives on time and within budget, aligned with Netstar quality standards. · Drive product requirements, design, and evolution in alignment with fleet customers (Enterprise and Commercial), current and future needs. Responsible for alignment with customer fleet optimisation strategies. Customer Experience Leadership · Maintain high customer satisfaction through measures metrics defined by vertical (NPS, CSAT, GM%, ARPU, etc.) · Ensure vertical portals, UIs, and customer-facing tools are aligned with the client’s needs and deliver excellent user experience. · Champion the OEM customer experience by ensuring Netstars solutions seamlessly integrate with OEM digital ecosystems, dealer networks, and aftersales processes Market and Competitor Positioning · Deliver a quarterly competitor analysis with actionable recommendations · Proactively identify opportunities and threats in the market and adjust product strategy accordingly. · Monitor global fleet management trends, including connected services, EV telematics, road optimisation, and models to improve fleet lifecycle cost. Operational Excellence: · Maintain product support and ticket health metrics, reducing recurring issues through proactive resolution. · Ensure change requests (UCRs) and new product requests (PBs) are validated, approved, prioritized, and executed effectively. Cross-Functional Collaboration · Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, operations, and support to deliver business outcomes · Acts as the central point of accountability to ensure product performance by the vertical · Collaborate with OEM integration partners (hardware and software) to enable end-to-end product solutions. Build and maintain a 13-year product roadmap for the vertical and associated products Lead go-to-market planning, product launches, and collateral with marketing. · Manage platform health, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance. · Facilitate and lead quarterly product reviews with executive stakeholders · Conduct ROI evaluations for new initiatives and post-launch reviews. · Represent the vertical in customer engagement, events, and industry forums · Track and report on all KPIs using BI Dashboards, customer surveys and other associated tools. · Engage directly with Fleet owners to co-develop telematic solutions, APIs, and service offerings. Fleet Systems: · Understand the operational challenges fleet operators face with in-depth knowledge of · Fleet lifecycle: acquisition, deployment, utilization optimization, maintenance, disposal · Total cost of ownership (TCO) models: fixed costs (depreciation, insurance, licensing) vs. variable costs (fuel, maintenance, tires, tolls) · Asset utilization metrics: vehicle uptime, idle time, miles per vehicle, revenue per asset · Route Planning & Optimization · Understand the processes followed by fleet operators to ensure optimal fleet management · Understand the associated cost implications associated with driver behaviors, route optimization, and fuel management. · Understanding of telematics hardware and associated products used in fleet systems · Experience with API integrations in Fleet Systems. · Understand the roles of stakeholders in logistics and fleet systems (Transport operator, Risk operator, Maintenance department, Finance department)
